Here's A New One

My dad called me today to tell me that the landlord for a facility he is opening as a daycare center called with an interesting demand. Somewhere she heard that he was planning to hire a specific person to work in this daycare center. Somehow she assumed that she had the right to call my dad and threaten to terminate his lease if he hired her. I know I am not a lawyer but I am pretty sure there is nothing in his lease that gives the landlord the right to dictate who he can and cannot hire. Whatever she is smoking she needs to quit... it is making her look stupid.
